Network Marketing: What is Twitter ?

March 26, 2009
Twitter is another fantastic way to build and stay connected to your audience.

It’s probably one of the easiest social Web 2.0 sites to set up and start using.

As we should all know by now, building and communicating with an audience is the key to success in business.

That’s the fundamental message in the new network marketing model (also called ‘attraction marketing‘). By building an audience (such as an email list) you’re able to deliver ongoing information to your ‘contacts’ that is deemed valuable.

This builds you up as a trustworthy person to know, buy from, and do business with.

  • You can put your ‘offers’ in front of your audience.
  • You can find high quality prospects from your ‘list’ or audience.
  • Your audience is a real asset that follows you forever, regardless of whether or not your MLM company goes out of business or not.

But building an email list is just one of many ways to build and communicate with your audience.

In the social Web 2.0 world, you can build a fan club (which is your ‘audience’) at many social marketing Web 2.0 locations.

Here are just some of them you may know about:

And these are just a few examples, which we’ve been teaching you inside Marketing Merge Professional.

Renegade University get a free introduction to how to start using all of these synergistically together to build your audience bigger and faster.

Another fantastic way to build your audience is by using Twitter.

Twitter is amazingly simple. It basically works like this:

You give people your Twitter web link. For example, I give out http://www.Twitter.com/angelabrooks

I might send that to my email list, give it out in various blog posts like I just did, or share it at FaceBook, etc.

When people go to that address they can quickly choose to ‘follow’ me on Twitter.

If someone follows you on Twitter it means that each time you send out an update about something, they will see it.

This is similar to a feature at Facebook where you Update everyone about what you’re doing.

People who are already using Twitter can find you there. For example, if you choose to ‘follow’ other people, then their audience will see you. If they have seen your name or face before in the social web 2.0 world, they may click on it and decide to ‘follow you.’ Your audience grows.

If you post a good blog article, Squidoo lens, Hub Page or some other article or web post, you can post it there at Twitter very quickly. Everyone who is following you will see it. That means more traffic and exposure to that Blog post or article, which is what you want.

But even if you’re not promoting something like an article (or whatever it may be) you can still send a message update out on Twitter from time to time that keeps your name and face in front of your audience.

Since those people who follow you on Twitter see your update when they log into their Twitter account, it’s just more ‘branding’ exposure for you. I might let people know on Twitter that “I’m currently working from a nice coffee shop on my laptop off the Oregon Coast.” Those who follow me on Twitter see that and think, “Hmm… he lives a cool lifestyle,” and once more they see my face and name. While they peruse the Internet and they see an article with my picture and name again, they are more likely to read it.

The more people see you and hear from you–the more they are apt to buy from you or want to know more about what you offer.

Twitter is another great way to do that. And it’s probably one of the most simplest of ways… it’s very easy to sign up and use it.

So if you have a Twitter account, follow me by going to http://www.Twitter.com/angelabrooks and stay connected to my updates and news on Internet Network Marketing.

If you don’t have a Twitter account yet you can get one there as well.

Building On a Budget with Web 2.0 Social Marketing

March 26, 2009

If you’ve already been introduced to attraction marketing then you’re probably eager to get a move on.

If you’ve already started building your prospects list then this article will introduce you to the most powerful way to take it to the next level–as you build on a string-shoe budget.

In fact, Web 2.0 social marketing, when used properly and synergistically, will create a storm of traffic and produce more leads than necessary to produce significant upfront cash-flow, while you attract key people into your network marketing business.

So what IS Web 2.0 Social Marketing?

Web 2.0 describes an evolutionary step the Internet took several years ago as it moved from being just web sites and became something the average person could interact with.

For example, people can easily now upload photos, post comments and add text onto a web site with relative ease. This is what Web 2.0 is… and it openned up a huge opportunity for millions of people to become social on the Internet as they can now easily share ideas, content, products, services, and interact in many ways.

Thus the term: Social Marketing.

And here are the six categories of Social Marketing.

  1. Content Sharing
  2. Articles
  3. Bookmarking
  4. Social Sites
  5. Blogs
  6. Video

There are thousands of social sites that fall into any one of those six categories, and although it’s debatable on where exactly one particular site falls, we can explain and teach you these marketing methods more easily by helping you understand the different elements we find in the Social Marketing Web 2.0 environment.

Network Marketing: Are You Scared Of Your Phone?

March 26, 2009
Free Webinar, in your back office of your free account
Do You Know What To Do Once Prospects Come to You?When a prospect calls you on the phone do you know what to say to them? Do you know how to give value over the phone? Can you convert your calls into cash?
Regardless of whether you are generating product customers or business partner or are building a consulting business, this class is for you! Using the phone is a scary thing for many folks. This class will get you past those fears. It’s for anyone who uses the telephone to increase sales and build relationships. It’s about how to give value when you’re on the phone (to attract sales with significantly more ease).
You will see what an “attractive prospecting” phone call looks (and sounds)
like. This class will give you build your web of content with more confidence because you’ll understand where it’s all headed. After all, it’s always easier to get somewhere when you know where you’re going. Learning to speak with your prospects is vitally important to your business.
It doesn’t matter if it’s prospects calling you or your making contact with
those who join you thru your lead capture pages. This class will help you
turn your calls into profits. What we’ll be discussing with you is how to continue the ‘attraction’ principles on the phone.
Here’s why this is so important…
You want to know beforehand (before the prospect calls you or before
you make that call) exactly what value you’re going to offer to them.
If this sounds familiar to you… you’re absolutely right!
What you do on the phone is exactly the same as what you did to get
them there in the first place. You give value first, creating the trust you
need to make a sale & attract them into your business.
By knowing what value you are going to offer first, you’ll have the confidence you need to move forward. You’ll be able to guide the conversation into the direction you want it to go, all the while giving value to your prospect or customer.
Your prospect will want more of you, instead of less of you.
You’ll be appreciated because you’re giving something. You’re helping,
not just going through a script or list of questions to “get something” from
them.
You’ll feel better about what you do, or more importantly, the way you’re
doing it. So will your prospect.
Doing business this way leads to a lot more sales and a lot more fun!
You’ll make friends with your prospects and customers… and in the long
run, it leads to MORE success in any business you’re involved with. If you’re in the networking industry it leads to a lot more duplication for obvious reasons.
Regardless of whether you’re focused on attracting product or business
prospects, or to build a consulting business, this class is for you. It’s for
anyone who uses the telephone to increase sales and build more relationships.
There is no charge for this class it is listed in your free Renegade account.
